ABOUT The Night of Extreme Cuisine “Escape to the Islands” will be an adventure you’ll never forget!!! In March we will cruise over to the Antelope Valley Fairgrounds for the most exciting event of the year. We hope you will come and partake in this gala that helps students in financial need through no fault of their own. We have been blessed to give scholarships from this event to students whose families have been in tragic accidents, whose parents have lost their jobs or are in temporary financial need and sadly to families who have lost parents. Wave after wave of people have enjoyed Paraclete High Schools Night of Extreme Cuisine. Whether you are a current family of Paraclete, an Alumni, or part of the Antelope Valley Community you will experience an evening like no other. Restaurants bring some of their top entrees for you to sample. In the past we’ve had the pleasure to taste the mouth watering prime rib from Black Angus, delicious BBQ foods from Famous Dave’s and refreshing flavors of ice cream from Cold Stones. The wines from our local wineries help enhance the food from Fresco II, Rubio’s and Giavanni’s. Whether it’s white wine by Antelope Valley Winery or the red wines from the Agua Dulce Vineyards we are sure you will find something that wets your whistle. We will once again have top notch entertainment to keep you captive. Who knows what we might dig up this year! Could it be another comedian or maybe we’ll rock your boat with lively tunes from Motown. Come and find out!!! This magnificent affair is also where you may participate in our silent auction. You never know what treasures you might find. Bid against your friends for terrific items like a new BBQ, sports memorabilia, or home décor items. Why not make a big splash and bid in our Live Auction. Last year we were lucky to have an Australian shepherd puppy, a laptop computer basket - that included everything you needed to go away to college with - and a beautiful diamond necklace. The Night of Extreme Cuisine could not occur without the help of our extremely hard working volunteers and the incredible businesses, who have donated items for the auction and who have also sponsored this event.
